The Hamilton County Farm Bureau Foundation is the charitable branch of the Hamilton County Farm Bureau. The goal of the Hamilton County Farm Bureau Foundation is: "To assist in the development of agricultural leaders and to emphasize the importance of agriculture in the future."
Grants, scholarships, or programs funded by the Foundation will directly benefit agriculture in Hamilton County.

IAA Foundation scholarships
The IAA Foundation is the charitable branch of the Illinois Farm Bureau. The IAA Foundation supports Ag in the Classroom programs and provides scholarship and educational opportunities to students around Illinois.
IAA Foundation student scholarships are due every year on February 15th. Information about these scholarships can be found here.
The IAA Foundation also offers scholarships to individuals enrolled in an Illinois Community College Truck Driver Program. Drivers with CDLs are essential to our farms. Learn more about this scholarship opportunity here.

hamilton county scholarships
The Hamilton County Farm Bureau Foundation awarded three scholarships to Hamilton County students in 2025. This year, each student will receive a $1,500 scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year. This year’s recipients are Abby Erwin, Kora Wellen, and Shayla McMahon.
Abby Erwin, daughter of Chad and Julie Erwin, will attend Rend Lake College to study Ag Business.
Kora Wellen, daughter of Roger and Bethany Wellen, will attend Rend Lake College to study Ag Production and Management.
Shayla McMahon, daughter of Michael and Angela McMahon, will attend Rend Lake College to study Ag Business.
